This Grandma is Fabulous
I hope you enjoy this quick and easy DIY sign for all the fabulous grandmas in your life.
Gather Your Supplies
For this project I used my Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Premium Vinyl, 4×4 unglazed ceramic tile, and an approximate 11×11 wooden base. The exact base I use is sold out, but this one is very similar.
Cricut settings
I used the Catherina Font from Creative Fabrica for the words and the Holiday Present Inline Font for the T G I F letters.
Check out this link for lots of fun fonts, graphics, and more from Creative Fabrica.
I positioned this piece of vinyl to use the darker areas for my cutouts.
I used a standard grip mat and my Cricut Brayer to secure the vinyl to the mat.
To get the letters to match given they are very different widths, I used a height of 1.91 inches for each letter. I kept the width locked to keep the proportions correct for the font.
I used a height of .96 inches for each word. I left the width locked to keep the proportions correct for the font.
Before cutting attach the letter with it’s respective word.
After the Cricut Cuts
I used my Pin Pen for weeding.
Use Cricut Transfer Tape to position the words and letters on the tiles.
We used Loctite Landscape to attach the ceramic tiles to the wood back board.
I have made this sign for my two favorite grandmas (one of which will be receiving it as a Christmas gift this year) and I hope you enjoy making it for the grandmas in your life.
