I also learned so much from the other designers and I really enjoyed following along with their renovations. If you have followed along with me for the last 6 weeks, thank you so much! Rustic Wooden Shelves Made from Upcycled Wood
Aren’t these shelves just gorgeous? They were so easy to make and they are very special to me because of the wood used, but they would be equally stunning with any type of old reclaimed wood. In a moment, I will show you step-by-step how to make these shelves, but first a short story about the wood I used. Jobs-For-Hire Board
Command Center Jobs-For-Hire Board One of the things I knew from the beginning I wanted to add to my Command Center is a jobs-for-hire board. When I received this beautiful barn door chalk/magnet/ cork board for Christmas, I knew I had found the home for my jobs-for-hire board. Job Descriptions The jobs I list on my Jobs-For-Hire board are usually quick jobs I could use some help with. I list things like “Vacuum the stairs” or “Unload the dishwasher”. Along with the jobs, I include how much you will be paid for the job and I attach the cash to the cork board behind the job posting. This simple practice…

Teen bathroom mason jar organizer with lighted arrow
The above link helps our page as we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Keeping with her love of rustic and my love of practical, I attached mason jars to this cute little pre-lit rustic arrow I purchased at Hobby Lobby. This adorable and useful organize was quite simple to make. To make your own you will need a wooden base, I used the pre-lit rustic arrow. You will also need mason jars (I used 4 because that is how many I could fit onto my arrow). You will also need plumbing clamps and screws and drywall anchors to secure the organizer to the wall.…

Love Brings you Home
I knew I wanted something over the door to the garage with some type of message reminding family they are loved each time they leave the house but I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted. I had in mind something that says to be safe, have fun, and come home, though much more elegantly worded. I found a set of adhesive wall letters which says, “Life takes you to unexpected places, Love brings you home”. This was the exact sentiment I was looking for, but I didn’t want to just put the letters onto the wall. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do until I ran across a…
