Week 4 – One Room Challenge – Sofaless livingroom
Welcome back! If you are just joining us for the One Room Challenge, you can check out our plans here. You can also check out Painting Week here. This week was all about the flooring, and since we hired that out, I shopped for new lighting. We have wanted to remove some of our carpet and replace with hardwood for a few years now. However, all of our halls had original hardwood, so we wanted it to be seamless and whenever we looked into it, we did not get a good feeling it would come out as seamless as we had hoped. We finally found a company, Park Place…

ORC – sofaless living space – Fresh Paint – Week 3
Welcome back! If you are just joining us for the One Room Challenge, you can check out our plans here. This week was painting week for us and unlike when I did the One Room Challenge for my dining room, the paint came out as I planned the first time this time. Luckily with this room, there was no damage to the walls, no peeling tape, and nothing to patch other than a few tiny holes where pictures had been. The paint color choice was also simple this time. Thank You Sign for Delivery Drivers
Don’t we all love to see packages arriving on our porch. Especially during the holidays. I know lots of us leave out snacks or waters for these hard working delivery drivers, but sometimes it seems they aren’t sure if they are supposed to take something. To make sure they know the snacks available are for them I created this sign which I leave on my porch during the Christmas season. I place it near the bins of snacks and water bottles and Gatorades. Supplies We began with a rustic wooden circle with a diameter of approximately 18 inches. The one I used seems to no longer be stocked, but…

This Grandma is Fabulous
I hope you enjoy this quick and easy DIY sign for all the fabulous grandmas in your life. Gather Your Supplies For this project I used my Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Premium Vinyl, 4×4 unglazed ceramic tile, and an approximate 11×11 wooden base. The exact base I use is sold out, but this one is very similar. Cricut settings I used the Catherina Font from Creative Fabrica for the words and the Holiday Present Inline Font for the T G I F letters. Check out this link for lots of fun fonts, graphics, and more from Creative Fabrica. I positioned this piece of vinyl to use the darker…

A Very Merry Christmas Advent Calendar DIY
My mom and my aunt like to kick off the Christmas season with a girls’ trip – I affectionately refer to them as The Road Tripping Grannies. At Thanksgiving I like to drop of advent calendars for each of them to begin opening on their trip, but at this point I have done all of the typical ones – the socks were their absolute favorite so far! This year I decided to do something different. This year I decided to make my own! I just love how these turned out and I hope they, and all of you, do too! Steps to Make Your Own Advent Vase Decor Choose Your…
