    Ornament Tree DIY

Welcome back.  Today I want to show you how to make this adorable little ornament tree.  I have seen these selling in stores for between $60 and $90 and I thought it didn’t look that difficult to make, so I figured why not give it a try. It only takes a few supplies to get started.  I used a medium sized floral cone because of the size where I planned to display the completed tree, but you can use any size you like.  If going smaller, I would recommend getting thinner garland and smaller ornaments. Christmas Ornament Basket DIY using Plant Stand

Hi again.  It’s so good to have you back.  Today I want to show you how I used the leftover branches from the bottom of our Christmas tree to make this beautiful decorative basket for our front porch. Are you looking for the perfect Christmas party craft?   These adorable ornaments are quick and easy for any age group.  Another great thing about these ornaments is they come require very little actual artistic skill and they come out beautiful every time.  This makes them a great choice for a party. We started with clear glass ornaments in various shapes and added Epson Salts as the snow. We prefilled the ornaments with Epson Salts for the snow.  We filled the ornaments between 1/2 and 1/4 with the Epson Salts because some people prefer them with more snow and some with less.  We prefilled because of the number of kids…

Rustic Wooden Shelves Made from Upcycled Wood

Aren’t these shelves just gorgeous?  They were so easy to make and they are very special to me because of the wood used, but they would be equally stunning with any type of old reclaimed wood.  In a moment, I will show you step-by-step how to make these shelves, but first a short story about the wood I used.  These gorgeous shelves were made from boards originally used by my Dad to frame his vegetable garden, and to make it even more special, the boards were made from a tree cut from my uncle’s farm.  After Dad passed away, I brought the wood home knowing that I would find…
