Dining Room Renovation – Painting – Week 2 – ORC
Welcome back! If you are just joining us for the One Room Challenge, you can check out our plans here. This week was painting week for us and the paint colors didn’t exactly go as planned, but in home renovation isn’t that usually the case! If you remember, the Chinese Porcelain color from PPG Paints is my inspiration for our room. So with such a rich wall color, I wanted a neutral for the ceiling. I chose Alpaca. Baseball Field Birthday Cake
Hi Everyone. I hope you have as much fun making this baseball field birthday cake. But even more fun than making the cake was watching the boys from my son’s baseball team choose which candle on the cake represented them. I placed the candles as close as possible to the field positions, with an extra candle for the batter and a runner at second to get 11 candles. Transform Plain Glass Vases into Gorgeous Sea Glass
Using only a couple of items you most likely have around you home you can give plain clear glass the lovely look of seaglass. I started with simple glass bud vases which I purchased for $1.00 each at the Target dollar spot. While I purchased mine at Target, similar bud vases can be found here. Before I began, I cleaned each of the vases with rubbing alcohol to make sure I started with a clean surface. All you need to transform plain glass into lovely seaglass is food coloring and glue.
